Blank table cells in a data table read "blank" to screen readers, while placeholder or other filler symbols can be likewise confusing.

For tables with empty or blank cells, add <class="offscreen"> to override what the screen reader announces (e.g. reading "this cell intentionally blank" instead of "blank").

• Table should not include empty headers or empty data cells. If empty data cells are required, include an <aria-label="empty by design"> to indicate that meaning to assistive technology.
